Homemade Ready Meals

Ready Meals are Popular.

Did you know that the UK is Europe’s biggest buyers of ready meals and in 2019 the frozen ready meal market was worth £382 million? I should imagine due to the extraordinary circumstances we find ourselves in this year there might be a spike in these figures for pre made cooked meals.
Many of the nation’s favourite meals be they take away or ‘make at home’ you can also find as a frozen meal, and here at Ofishial foods we like to think that we make most of these popular meals for home delivery.

We provide ready meals delivered to your door (this includes free delivery if you are on one of our ‘local’ routes). Our wide range of fantastic tasting meals has something for all taste buds. Our meals come in two sizes and are delivered fully frozen. With a comprehensive label for cooking instructions and ingredients.

Pasta Meals.

Spaghetti Bolognese – our delicious version of this Italian classic comes with a rich minced beef and tomato sauce, topped with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. It is also allium free and is low in fat.

We do a gorgeous pasta bake, containing balls of sausage meat mixed with tomato sauce and penne pasta – again topped with cheese.

Our newest pasta dish is the luxurious Mushroom Ravioli served with a creamy mushroom sauce.

We also have 3 different types of Italian classic lasagne, the traditional beef or roasted vegetable and then the seafood lasagne. This contains cod, salmon, haddock and prawns in a tomato sauce between layers of pasta with a melted cheese topping.

Roast Meals.

Last year Beef got dethroned as the UK’s favourite roast to be replaced by Chicken. Here in our kitchen on the edge of the Cotswolds we have all the major meats served as roast dinners – Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken, Turkey (all year round), they all come with roast potatoes and a variety of different vegetables and trimmings. We even do a Nut Roast – not just for the vegetarians!

Potato topped pies.

Here we have the traditional Shepherd’s Pie – lamb mince mixed with carrots and peas in gravy. This is allium free and gluten free.

We also sell cottage pie and the more luxurious gourmet cottage pie. This more luxurious version contains red wine, harissa and mushroom ketchup from Geo Watkins, these ingredients really fill the pie with lots of flavour.

With most of our meals that have mashed potato on top we pre make these toppings and brown them in the oven. So, this means that for the customers who wish to heat their meals in the microwave still have a lovely brown top to them.

Obviously, this list is not exhaustive and some people may think we’ve missed off their favourite meal. Don’t worry we also have other classics like sausage and mash, chicken korma and fish and chips. Not forgetting some of the most popular British puddings – Apple Pie and Custard, Rhubarb Crumble and Sherry Trifle. Have a look at our website for a full list of desserts.
